Fast fashion biggest enemy is efficiency, sustainability, and preservation; fast fashion mission is to move clothes rapidly in order to continue cyclical consumption. Whereof sustainability is slowing down the cycle. H&M communicate heavily their green profile, however, is it green-washing?

The first known use of t-shirts is dated back to 1913 and the Spanish-American War, in the beginning, used by the U.S. Navy as underwear garments. Later during World War II, t-shirts became frequent to see veterans wearing t-shirts as a part of their uniform pants in a casual way. However, the t-shirts real breakthrough happened when Marlon Brando wore white tees in the youth rebellious movie from the 1950s «A Streetcar Named Desire».

One of the largest clothing companies around the world except for Inditex (Zara) is H&M. H&M has 2900 stores operating in 45 markets with an extremely aggressive growth strategy of 10-15% new doors each year. They scream loudest of all the brands about their ability to do well for our planet and H&M gain massive PR from it. Solar power is clean energy, renewable and basically free energy source. However, solar panels are expensive, ineffective as every man-made technology compared with how nature does things, for example, the photosynthesis. Today solar power is produced primarily with photovoltaic cells technology, firstly use the energy directly or secondly store the electricity with batteries.
