Do we have a story crisis? Part 1-14 The truth about the ecological and human crisis.
The Monetary measurement of human well-being in the traditional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) does not work anymore; money is false, corrupt, poisoning of the mind and trigger desire for more. For example, a high GDP has nothing to do with social welfare, because terrorism, diseases, war, drug use, alcohol abuse, cancer, environmental disasters, suicide, hurricanes etc. creates a higher GDP, these issues mentioning is not beneficial for human happiness or well-being, nevertheless looks good on a spreadsheet and bottom line. A corporation does not have a soul; it is a system who does not feel pity, compassion or accountable.
Big Pharma invents new medicines only for patent reasons, as soon as a patent no longer are valid and medication generic other pharmaceutical companies are free to produce the same drug with a lower price. Since patenting, create a monopoly, the maker’s price-setting high and hardly affordable without governmentally subsidised. At the same time pharma, untruthfully communicate unethically using their employed scientists.
It is time for new and more humane drug policy in the world; drugs must be on prescriptions from doctors like all other medications. There are many reasons for this. The last 20-30 years of international and in this case Norwegian drug policy have been unsuccessful, stained by old attitudes, powerless without the will to do things differently.
Do we have a story crisis? The Monetary Issues? Global markets are now dominated by global corporations which are among the most undemocratic and unaccountable of human institutions.
