Wrinkle resistance

Wrinkle resistance is a term used to describe the character of a fabric that resists the formation of wrinkles when subjected to a folding deformation. Wrinkle resistance in a fabric is desirable characteristics. However, difficult to measure quantitatively. Wrinkle resistance difference widely between the type of textile fabric, and in order to form a wrinkle, a fabric resistance must overcome. The fabric may, nevertheless, store potential energy that later under suitable conditions manifest as wrinkle recovery. See Ease of care, Resilience
