Blend

The blend is a term that applied to a yarn or a fabric made up of more than one fibre.

Staple fibre

Staple fibre has short fibre, typically measured in inches or fraction of inches, like those naturally found in cotton and wool. Silk, however, is the only natural fibre that does not come in staple lengths but instead in filament lengths.

Polyolefin

Polyolefin is a term used to describe a special type of fibre made from polymerised ethylene or propylene. Originally was Polyolefin developed for soled plastic applications
