Global warming

Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of Earth’s atmosphere and oceans since the late 19th century and its projected continuation. Since the early 20th century, Earth’s mean surface temperature has increased by about 0.8 °C

Global warming potential (GWP)

Global Warming Potential (GWP) is an index, based upon radiate attributes of greenhouse gases, compared to that of carbon dioxide. The global warming potential appears as the combined effect of the various lengths of time that these gases remain in the atmosphere and their relative effectiveness in absorbing outgoing infrared radiation.

Green economy

The term Green economy defined as “one that results in improved human well-being and social equity, while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities. In its simplest expression, a green economy as one, which is low carbon, resource-efficient and socially inclusive” by UNEP 2011.
