Oxford

Originally made in Oxford, England, it is a plain weave fabric where 2 or more filling yarns pass over and less than 1 or more parallel warp yarns. It is possible to have 2×1, 2×2, 3×2, 4×4, or 8×8. Used in dress shirting’s where the warp is a color, and the feeling is natural, in addition, popular in nylon for outerwear jackets.
