Industrial Revolution

The industrial revolution was a period when the production moved from the use of humans and animals to power production towards machines. Textile’s production was one of the most important industries that changed the most during the revolution. Cotton spinning was revolutionised due to the invention of the water frame, using Richard Arkwright’s water frame, James Hargreaves’s Spinning Jenny, and Samuel Crompton’s Spinning Mule (a combination of the Spinning Jenny and the Water Frame).
