High-density polyethene (HDPE)
Polyethylenes, the most widely used class of plastics in the world, include several copolymers of ethylene in addition to the homopolymer. The two most commonly used Polyethylene; Low-density polyethene (LDPE), the application mostly in use for plastic film, bags, and containers. The other is High-density polyethene (HDPE) is a plastic recyclable. HDPE is mostly in use for products such as base cups of plastic soft drinks bottles, milk containers, and detergent containers. It carries the symbol above.
