Elastomer tPE

Elastomer

Elastomer is a term used to describe highly-elastic fibres. It remained the exclusive domain of sulphur-vulcanized rubber threads for a long time, unaffected by the heavy development of the synthetic fibres. It first in the 1960s that highly-elastic polyurethane elastomers began to find wide application. Since elastomers have replaced a large part of the rubber tread from their traditional fields of applications.
