Composite fabric

Composite fabric is a term used to describe an engineered material with two or more different types of fibres composed in a sheath-core or side-side relation. Often one component is a durable fibre such as carbon fibre, fibreglass or Kevlar, that gives the material its tensile strength, while another element is usually a resin, for example, polyester or epoxy that binds the fibres together.
