Composite fabric

Composite fabrics is a term used to describe an engineered fabric with  two or more different types of fibres composed in a sheath-core or side-side relation.  Often one component is  a strong fiber such as carbon fibre, fiberglass or Kevlar, that gives the material its tensile strength, while another component is often a resin, for example polyester or epoxy that binds the fibres together.
