The blend is a term that applied to a yarn or a fabric made up of more than one fiber. In blended yarns, two or more different types of staple fibres are spun or twisted together to form the yarn. An example of a typical blended yarn or fabric is polyester/cotton fibre or more sophisticated camel hair/ alpaca fibre. It can also be a mixture that contains a blended yarn (of the same fibre content) in the warp and filling.
