Biopolymer

The biopolymer is a term used to describe an organic compound of high molecular-weight. The biopolymer is recognized by a structure which can be represented by a repeated tiny unit. Included as biopolymer is most cellulose (long-chain sugars found in plants such as jute fibre, hemp fibre, flax fibre, cotton fibre and proteins in general, particularly collagen and gelatin.
