Biocrime

Biocrime is a term used to describe a new form of crime by the threat or use of biological agents by individuals or groups to commit a crime, such as a robbery or murder, or to further their criminal intent. This level of the use of biological agents or the threat of use has degenerated to the level of ordinary crime. This is not the same as bioterrorism. One ordinary example is to robbing banks by threatening to spray anthrax, another less ordinary is the revenge on coworkers by contaminated doughnuts. At this level bears many similarities to bioterrorism or bioassassination without the strong state sponsorship. Nevertheless, in the case of biocrime, the agents (less harmful chemicals) used are seldom capable of battlefield or bioterrorism actions
