Atomic mass unit

The atomic mass unit is a term used to describe the mass of a Neutral Atom of a Nuclide. Usually expressed in terms of the physical scale of nuclear masses, that is, in atomic mass units (AMU). Also as a unit of mass; one atomic mass unit (AMU) is defined as 1 12 the mass of one 126 C atom.
