Anthroposphere
Anthroposphere comes from the Greek root word “anthro” with means human sphere and covers people, their concerns, interests, and impact on the natural Earth system. Human activities have modified for their purpose’s parts of the natural order of the earth. It applies to technosphere, which refers mainly to human-built environments such as cars, ships, planes, machines. Humans have always made an impact on the earth’s systems.
However, the population was much smaller and changes, therefore, slow. We are at present 7 billion people, and we are making an impact even just by being alive. The human footprint on the Earth system is now visual and recognisable many places around the world.
