Hate defeated by love
I was one of the eyewitnesses to the bomb explosion in the city centre of Oslo city on the day of horror. To find back to my inner peace, I decided to do “walking Meditation” in the Vigeland sculpture park at night. The day of fear came to Oslo when a big bomb exploded in the middle of city people was in shock. Some hours later on the island Utøya Young innocent politically interested shot dead. Without any possibilities to escape.
I witness the bomb total damage in the city centre as I arrived just 2 minutes after the bang. My subway station is only 200 meters from where the bomb exploded In the evening to restless to sit inside –I decided to do “walking meditation Calm my mind and try to gain a momentum of inner peace. Just a few blocks from my home are famous Vigeland Sculpture Park. I took my camera with me and found inner peace., Norway did a marvellous good thing this sad day, and by doing so the act the opposite of what the terrorists hope for “Who is to make people scared.”
Finding inner peace
My journey starts at the entrance.
– Responsibilities do not lie with the leaders. It lies with each of us. And peace begins within us
– And when we have inner peace – when a community is in a state of peace, It can share that peace with neighbouring communities
-When we do so, we will feel love and kindness e toward others
Peace can only last where human rights are respected
Peace can only last where human rights are respected. Where nations fed and where individuals and nations are free
-Inner peace achieved through the development of mental peace
-Material progress is essential for human advancement, but if we forget spiritual growth – then we get clinched to things and our mental health suffers
Seek for a life in balance
-Buddha found out the hard way in life to overcome sufferings. This balance Buddha refers to as the middle way
-When you have inner peace, all external problems do not affect you
-Without inner peace whatever how wealthy or prosperous you might be – you might be disturbed or unhappy
My words of inner peace inspired by the lecture of inner peace of the 14th Dalai Lama held when achieving the Nobel peace prize
There are some simple guidelines on what we should not do:
-Not to destroy life
-Not to steal
-Not to commit adultery
-Not to drink intoxicating drinks
In the park, there is a famous angry boy “Sinnataggen” with great buddha nature
-He says; you never will be punished for your anger. Your anger will punish you
To you who reads this remembers; – you, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affliction
I am walking out of the park and remember; We are what we think- All that arises with our thoughts, They form and make the world
I know a lot of people who do not share their happiness, and that is sad</span
Happiness is what we seek for “Thousands of candles can be lit from one single, and the light of the candle will not shorten. Happiness never decreases by being shared” These words dedicated to my dear brother who left us all earlier this year. And to all those families and friends who lost one of their most beloved – In the difficulties of all times
Finally, as I enter the centre of Majorstua my calmness
-And my inner peace feels the emptiness of the present moment, no yesterday, no tomorrow I was just there at the present moment
-And I felt satisfied and higher because I decided to follow some advice from others to do a simple form for “meditation by walking.”
-And as you can see, there is almost nobody out that night. That emptiness helps me with greatness to become silent inside.
-Everybody should now and then turn off all your digital devices and leave home, for a second or a year, the length does not matter, only that you have started developing the inner peace by being with yourself.
It is my story from the emptiest park and town in the world this night. So always try to look for a positive side in everything negative
