A Concept is a well-defined, clearly written, and apparently visual description of the new product idea that includes its primary features and consumer advantage, combined with a broad knowledge of the technology needed. Concepts are the glue that holds our mental world together. When we walk into a new restaurant, or room, shopping in the supermarket, meet a dentist, or read a novel, we must trust our visual memory that identifies concepts of the world to help us understand what is happening. For example, Cradle To Cradle framework is a concept of performing fashion in a way that is sustainable (see graphics).
