Meta-designing fashion

Meta-design is the design to the design itself; it can be as a higher order of design; that transcends design disciplines through contingent workforce and open-ended process. It is inherently collaborative, inviting stakeholders and users into the process. The way of working can be useful in sustainable fashion design perspectives on complex problem-solving situations; for example, the result of a meta design operation solving and lower aircraft use of fossil fuel.  Sources metadesigners at  http://metadesigners.org

Meta design ten principles

  • Eco-mimetic We need to learn from Nature’s big systems
  • Comprehensive Most designers are specialists representing the existing paradigm
  • Re-language Because paradigms exist partly in the mind
  • Synergy-weaving Combining existing resources can deliver greater abundance
  • Co-creative No individual is smart enough to see the big picture
  • Entredonneurial Top-down and bottom-up initiatives must work in synergy
  • Flat-structured Fixed hierarchies tend to shield us from our responsibilities
  • Fractal-oriented Because we all need to find our way in the system
  • Radically optimistic Because negative thoughts make miracles seem less possible

Kenneth Lyngaas
I always try to be positive & have great energy to share. I try hard not to be affected by negative energy from others. I think that life is to short and that I do not have time to be grumpy, its only me that suffers from it and people around me. I believe that the whole universe is inter-connected, always in change and not everlasting. All people needs to develop positive karma, this will help us in the future. We all need to take care of this planet as we are only borrowing for a short time. So let us pass it on in a better condition than when we borrowed it. Remember next time we come around we might be able to borrow it again. I belive strongly that in a time like this we need strong visionary people that view the world as one. Enjoy
